Nice looking vises. Can you explain the SYP inlays on the vise chops?
Also, how does the notched oak board relate to the chop?
thanks,
Dave

I want to learn how to inlay, hence SYP inlays on the vises. I actually don’t like how they look, but I learned inlay is not a hard as I thought it was.

The notched board is just a holder for the spacers that I insert into the sliding vise; the spacers act as a leverage point for the vise.
